Nicholas Kusnetz is a reporter with the Center for Public Integrity, where he covers state government transparency and corruption as part of the State Integrity Investigation, which was a finalist for the 2013 Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Journalism. He was a 2011 Middlebury Fellow in Environmental Journalism and covered gas drilling and energy as a Reporting Fellow at ProPublica. He has written about energy, the environment and other topics for Businessweek, RollingStone.com, Fast Company, The Nation, High Country News, The New York Times and other publications. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, where his work won the Bloomberg Business Reporting Award.
